Why does Beaune Imports sell Italian olive oil and vinegar?

In 2013 we acquired Singer Olio, the oil and vinegar importing business started more than 20 years ago by our friend Stephen Singer. Stephen met these suppliers on a scouting mission for Chez Panisse and over the years built a loyal following for their goods among restaurants and home cooks here in the Bay Area. We are very happy to extend their reach. 

When do you process and ship orders? 

We process orders Mon-Fri morning, GSO/UPS/USPS orders placed before noon will ship out that same day, orders placed after noon will ship out the next day. See below for warehouse pick-up and Bay Area delivery orders. 

Where can I find my shipment tracking information? 

Once you log in, your order history will show the status of your order and the tracking number once the label has been created. If the link does not work please try copying the number and pasting in the UPS or GLS or USPS tracking websites. (Or email us.)

Why is the shipping costs for anchovies so expensive? 

Unfortunately, our website has trouble calculating the shipping costs for orders with items of different sizes. It adds up the shipping cost for each size separately instead of taking into account the fact that they can sometimes ship in the same package! 

We will refund the unnecessary shipping costs once we receive your order, and then resend the email receipt. Thank you for your understanding, we appreciate your business. 

How do I know if my warehouse pick-up order is ready? 

In your order history the order status will say "Hold Pickup" when ready! 

When will my Bay Area delivery arrive? 

Orders placed before noon will go out the following Tuesday - Friday scheduled for that zone.

- East Bay (as far south as the Oracle Stadium)

- San Francisco

- Orinda, Lafayette and Walnut Creek Wed and Friday only

- SF Peninsula as far south as Palo Alto, but not the coast. Tues and Thurs only

- Marin Peninsula and as far north as Fairfax but not the coast. Wed and Friday only
