Several years back Paolo Martini di Cigala separated the few hectares of vines and olive groves which he inherited from his family from the San Giusto a Rentennano estate to raise his family in an agrarian paradise. His children are expert equestrians and every few years, there is enough olive oil produced from these prized groves to sell a little outside of Italy. It is one of the finest oils in Tuscany showing the classic spicy, floral and herbal notes in the nose with a brilliant balance of fine tannins, rich body and herbal aromatics. This is a very rare olive oil.
